Pape, professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago, a professor at the University of Chicago and a security expert, described Donald Trump's acceptance of Iran's 10-point plan as the basis for a ceasefire agreement as the United States' biggest failure since the Vietnam War.

The American professor emphasized that the US acceptance of Iran’s ceasefire plan indicates Iran’s emergence as the fourth global power.
 
The Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv also admitted that the winner of the devastating 41-day war was Iran, and that Israel and the US left the battlefield having accepted an unprecedented defeat.
 
The newspaper added that the destruction of 5,000 buildings resulted in a decisive Iranian victory and that Hezbollah would soon return stronger than before.
 
Former US federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski mocked Trump's acceptance of Tehran's 10-point plan, describing it as an unconditional surrender.
 
He sarcastically said: "There is no regime change, all sanctions will be lifted, Iran has maintained its missile and drone capabilities, controls the Strait of Hormuz, and has kept its enriched uranium."
 
Israeli military analyst Avi Ashkenazi also announced that Iran is the only winner of this war and still retains the ability to continue fighting and firing.
 
He added: "After Netanyahu and Trump's dreams against Iran collapsed, Operation "Lion's Roar" turned into "Cats' Meowing," and the Strait of Hormuz has now become an ATM for Tehran."
