It is the duty of Muslims to draw inspiration from the transformative conduct of the Messenger of God (PBUH)
The Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Urmia said: "Today, it is the duty of Muslims to both draw inspiration from his transformative conduct and to loudly condemn the crimes of arrogance; to revive the dignity of women and the oppressed in society, and to defend the oppressed of Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and Iran with all their might."

Mamosta Mamed Kalshinjad, today at the Sunni Friday prayer in Urmia, referring to the days of the birth of the Messenger of God (PBUH), stated: "The Holy Quran has praised the Prophet of Islam with the highest attributes, introducing him as the 'excellent example,' the 'great character,' 'mercy to the worlds,' and 'kind and merciful.'"
He continued: "But these attributes did not remain on paper; rather, they transformed the pre-Islamic society in the midst of life and guided humanity from darkness to light."
The Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Urmia, referring to the transformation in the view of women and human dignity during the pre-Islamic era, added: "In that era, women were no more than commodities, and the burying alive of daughters was a sinister custom. But the Prophet (PBUH), with the command 'Honor women,' sparked a great revolution."
He stated: "The Prophet (PBUH) recognized the inherent dignity of women with the verse 'He created you from a single soul,' consulted with his wives, competed with them, and became a model of a kind husband."
Mamosta Kalshinjad said: "The Messenger of God (PBUH) brought financial rights, inheritance, and the right to education for women, and took widows and maidservants under his protective umbrella, considering the reward for helping them as equal to jihad in the path of God."
Referring to the gradual emancipation of slaves and the equality of human beings during the era of the Prophet of Islam, he added: "The slave system was rooted in the economy and culture of that era. The Prophet (PBUH), with wise prudence, did not uproot this system but melted it from within, elevating slaves from 'commodities' to 'human beings,' and sat and ate with them."
The Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Urmia stated: "Muhammad (PBUH) declared any humiliation and oppression of slaves forbidden, and made the freeing of slaves not only an ongoing charity, but also an expiation for sins such as unintentional murder, zihar, and breaking the fast. In this regard, he elevated Bilal, the freed Ethiopian slave, to the pinnacle of honor, so that his call to prayer would echo above the Kaaba."
Referring to the building of a monotheistic society based on justice and brotherhood during the time of the Messenger of God (PBUH), he stated: "By forming the 'Ummah,' the Prophet (PBUH) shattered tribal and racist bonds and founded a society based on 'piety' and 'justice.' This transformation not only affected the Arabian Peninsula but also influenced the world, steering the course of human civilization towards monotheism and ethics."
Mamosta Kalshinjad noted: "But in contrast to this mercy, how far does the savagery of arrogance go? What relation does that criminal America, which today shed the blood of innocent women and children with a cowardly attack on a wedding ceremony in Kuhistak-e Sirik, have with this mercy and dignity? Is attacking a 'wedding ceremony' – a symbol of joy, love, and life – anything other than a sign of desperation and savagery? Does the silence of the false claimants of human rights in the face of this crime not expose their disgrace more than ever?"
Condemning this anti-human crime, he said: "We call on all international institutions to break their fragile silence."
In conclusion, the Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Urmia continued: "The conduct of the Prophet (PBUH) calls us to religious zeal and steadfastness against oppression. At the peak of power, he was humble and kind, and against oppression, he stood firm like a mountain. Today, it is the duty of Muslims to both draw inspiration from his transformative conduct and to loudly condemn the crimes of arrogance; to revive the dignity of women and the oppressed in society, and to defend the oppressed of Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and Iran with all their might."
