Baghaei: Iran's defensive strikes have been exclusively against military targets

Esmail Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a message, referring to the fact that unlike America, which has made attacking civilian targets a constant pattern in its illegal wars, Iran's defensive strikes have been exclusively against military targets, stated: "The official report by Qatar also confirms this reality."
Baghaei: Iran
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a message on the social network X, referring to the document registered by Qatar with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which emphasized that Iran's defensive strikes were directed only at US military bases, wrote: "The Qatari government, in an official document submitted to the ITU, has confirmed that Iran's defensive strikes against US forces stationed on Qatari soil were exclusively 'directed at US military installations [...] and no civilian area was targeted.'"

Baghaei added: "The only exception claimed by Qatar was the attack on a gas facility on March 18. But in this case as well, we must consider that the facility was at the time serving America's aggressive operations against Iran."

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated: "Compare this fact – Iran's precision and care in selecting targets – with America's performance in its repeated attacks on civilians and civilian targets: schools, hospitals, residential areas, wedding ceremonies, bridges, and more."

He emphasized: "There is a vast difference between a civilized nation that has learned the importance of adhering to moral and human principles – even in the most difficult circumstances – and warmongering rulers who, in their displays of power, observe no legal principle or moral rule."
