Hezbollah: Hostility towards Israel cannot be eliminated

The "Loyalty to the Resistance" parliamentary bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, strongly criticizing the performance of the country's government, declared the "framework agreement" with the Zionist regime as failed, and emphasized that hostility towards this regime remains part of Lebanon's covenant and laws, and no one can eliminate it.
Hezbollah: Hostility towards Israel cannot be eliminated
The "Loyalty to the Resistance" parliamentary bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, issuing a statement, condemned the crime committed by former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi and his regime in abducting Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions, Sheikh Mohammad Yacoub and journalist Abbas Badreddine.

The bloc stated that the injustice inflicted upon the people, the country, and the Lebanese cause through this crime is clear to all, and its aim was to silence a voice that defended the human right of the people to oppose oppression, resist the enemy, and live in security, sovereignty, and dignity.

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc also emphasized: "We once again renew our covenant with Imam Musa Sadr, and his children in Hezbollah and the Amal Movement will remain steadfast in preserving the approach of resistance to defend the country and its people, and to liberate Lebanese territory, and will never withhold sacrifice on this path."

In continuation, referring to the political and field developments in Lebanon, the bloc announced that the hope and calculations of the Lebanese government have been shattered after the failure of its concession-based approach in the "framework agreement" with the Zionist regime – an agreement that is "shameful, ominous, illegal, and contrary to the constitution."

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc added: "It has now become clear that the Zionist regime is using the framework agreement as a cover to continue its genocide crimes against everything related to life in the occupied areas, as well as to continue its attacks on the villages of southern Lebanon."

The bloc emphasized that the Lebanese government no longer has any excuse to continue this destructive approach against the state and the country, except to please the US government, and its justificatory rhetoric has worn out and no longer convinces anyone.

The Hezbollah parliamentary bloc further stated: "Instead of continuing its stubbornness and denial of reality, the government should abandon this approach, because its continuation will deepen the national crisis and consolidate the presence of the occupiers and their criminal actions."

The bloc also emphasized that the Lebanese government's disregard for accepting its national responsibilities regarding the aggression of the Zionist regime and its consequences indicates the "clinical death" of this government in relation to the people on livelihood issues.

The statement added that the government's disregard for its national responsibilities, especially towards the displaced and the suffering of the victims, and its evasion of commitments, is another sign of this situation.

In another part of its statement, the bloc emphasized that hostility towards the Zionist regime is a "status based on a covenant among the Lebanese," which has been established by the Taif Agreement and a set of laws, and its roots were formed from the time of the regime's establishment and its continued crimes against the Lebanese people and the occupation of their land.

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc added: "The insistence of the Lebanese President on a position repeatedly emphasizing efforts to end the state of hostility towards the Zionist regime is a deliberate disregard for the covenants, laws, and pains of the Lebanese people."

The bloc emphasized that hostility towards the Zionist regime, given the continued occupation of others' land through force and the regime's racist and exclusionary approach, is an inevitable reality, and no one, regardless of their position or status, will be able to eliminate or erase this status from Lebanon's laws, the people's culture, and their national identity.
