Hamas stated in a statement that the joint stance of the foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries has held the Zionist regime responsible for creating obstacles in the path of efforts to end the war and achieve security and stability in the region.
Hamas welcomed the foreign ministers' emphasis on the full and immediate implementation of the roadmap and the continuation of the role of the United States, the Peace Council, and the mediators to guarantee its implementation, and called for preventing the Zionist regime's obstruction or evasion of its commitments.
The movement also welcomed the emphasis on the necessity of entering into the commitments of the second phase according to the agreed arrangements and timeline.
Hamas also positively evaluated the stance of the countries issuing the statement in opposing the Zionist regime's efforts to deny the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the formation of an independent and fully sovereign state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
The movement emphasized that the continuation of occupation, policies of land annexation, settlement construction, and the imposition of new realities on the ground undermine the opportunities for achieving peace, security, and stability in the region.
In conclusion, Hamas called for transforming this stance into an effective political and diplomatic action, and for continuing pressures to force the Zionist regime to implement agreements, end the suffering of the Palestinian people, begin the reconstruction process of the Gaza Strip, and pave the way for Palestinians to enjoy their legitimate national rights.
