The "Rasul al-A'zam" competition begins in the Quran Generation schools in Sana'a

The Quran Generation schools, affiliated with the cultural unit of the Women's Affairs Organization in Sana'a, have launched the annual "Rasul al-A'zam" (The Great Messenger) competition on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Approximately 500 female students from various Quran Generation schools are participating in this competition, of whom 170 have advanced to the preliminary stage at the district level, and will then compete in a Quranic and cultural competition at the capital level.

The goal of this competition is to strengthen the connection with the Messenger of God (PBUH) and to institutionalize Quranic culture among female students. Sima Mi'ad, the official in charge of the Quran competition, said that this competition is held within the framework of annual activities commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and reflects attention to raising a Quranic generation possessing knowledge and learning, and committed to the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH).

She emphasized that this competition is an educational and faith-based opportunity to identify and encourage outstanding female students in the field of Quran memorization, and added that the preliminary stages will continue until the final competition at the capital level, in which qualified students from various districts will participate.

She also stated that this competition is held within the framework of the activities of the Quran Generation schools, with the aim of institutionalizing Quranic culture, strengthening the presence of the Prophetic conduct in the minds and hearts of new generations, and linking the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) with knowledge, action, and following the Messenger of God (PBUH).
