Ali al-Miqdad, a senior member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, speaking about the recent developments in the country and the region, announced: "The blood of the martyrs will be an incentive for us to continue our path. We swear that we will never forget the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounded, and they will be our main motivation to complete the path they have begun."
Ali al-Miqdad, during a memorial ceremony, stated: "Have the killers and criminals been able to change the faith within us? On the contrary, this faith has become deeper in our hearts and more rooted in our minds. Some thought we had weakened and that the resistance had weakened, but this is not the case at all! We have only become more certain, stronger, and more loyal to what we are fighting for."
He added: "The pure blood of the martyrs has proven that the resistance is stronger than before, and the resistance society continues its path more powerfully and cohesively than before."
On the political level, this Hezbollah representative strongly questioned the performance of the Lebanese government and its insistence on direct negotiations and an agreement with the Zionist enemy, and said: "This submissive and obedient government that went towards direct negotiations with the enemy is now suffering the consequences of its actions, especially after the Rome meeting, where we started to hear from them: 'Israel betrayed us.'"
Addressing the Lebanese government and those who participated in the direct negotiations with the occupying regime, al-Miqdad emphasized: "You are now reaping exactly what we told you – that you are moving towards a humiliating and shameful agreement, while we, with our martyrs, are on the path of the country's dignity and pride."
He continued: "You begged for what you call peace, and the result was that the Zionists gained complete immunity, and no one holds them accountable on any issue, from the file of Lebanese prisoners to occupation and aggression on Lebanese soil."
This Hezbollah representative further addressed Lebanese officials, saying: "It is time for you to be ashamed of yourselves and to admit to the world and to the resistance fighters in Lebanon that the negotiations have failed."
This Lebanese parliament member stated: "We hope this will be the last round of negotiations with the enemy, and of course the Americans have not set another date, and the Lebanese government must learn from what has happened. You cannot negotiate while being humiliated, without any leverage, and accept concession after concession."
Regarding the direct negotiations of the Lebanese government with the Zionist regime and the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and America, he stated that the Lebanese government tried to separate Lebanon's file from the path of the Islamabad agreement, but the only thing it achieved was giving free concessions to the enemy and disappointment.
Al-Miqdad noted: "Regarding the Islamabad agreement, the Islamic Republic of Iran still believes that the attack on Lebanon invalidates this agreement, and the withdrawal of the Americans from the region, not just the Strait of Hormuz, is a fundamental precondition for guaranteeing this agreement."
This representative of the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc stated: "The Islamic Republic of Iran clearly says that we stand by Lebanon, and in the negotiations, we take it into consideration and help this country. But despite this, the Lebanese government insists on rejecting this position."
