Grand Mufti of Oman calls for an end to differences and Muslim unity against the Zionist regime

Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalili, in a message on the social network X, expressing regret over recent developments and conflicts in the region, warned of the consequences of differences among Muslims and the predominance of a military approach over dialogue and understanding.

Referring to the increase in hostilities, the damage to brotherly relations, and the deepening rift among Muslims, he emphasized that in the current situation, more than ever, unity of ranks and solidarity of the Islamic Ummah are needed.

Al-Khalili called on scholars, thinkers, and those of wisdom and prudence in Islamic countries to intervene to end the differences and strengthen Muslim unity against the enemies of religion and truth.

Emphasizing the necessity of preserving the cohesion of the Islamic world, he added that the Muslim front must be united and strong against the common enemy – an enemy that, according to him, benefits from division and rifts among Muslims and the weakening of Islamic countries.

**Call for support for Gaza and Palestine**

Al-Khalili also once again called on Islamic governments, Muslims around the world, and the free people of the world to take immediate action to end the crimes against the people of Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon.

Referring to the continuation of the Zionist regime's crimes – including killing, destruction of infrastructure, and demolition of homes and properties – he called for serious action by Islamic countries and the international community to support the oppressed nations of the region.

In conclusion, this Omani scholar, raising the question of whether the voice of the oppressed is being heard, warned against the continued silence in the face of the crimes and suffering of the Palestinian people, and called for an end to indifference towards this crisis.
