The necessity of vigilance of the media of the Islamic world against the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam

Sheikh Mohammad Aziz Hanifi, a member of the Planning Council of Sunni Religious Schools in Fars, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), emphasized the importance of the role of journalists and the media of the Islamic world in the current situation, and stated: "Basically, news media are among the most important tools that are very influential in conveying the word of truth and righteousness. If we examine this issue deeply and professionally, we will find that such media play a constructive role in spreading news, as well as in intellectual indoctrination of nations and peoples."

Sheikh Hanifi stated: "All media and news tools that serve the enemies of dear Iran and Islam know well that one of the components of harming Islam and Muslims is media tools. For this reason, the Islamic Ummah and Islamic media must act very intelligently against this kind of poisoning and properly convey the reverse consequences of their news for clarification."

This Sunni scholar stated: "On the other hand, the media and journalists must consider the thoughts of nations. To prevent the nation and the Ummah from being deceived by the enemies' lies and to avoid instilling false ideas into them, they must have knowledge of the geography, thoughts, and mentality of other nations, because different nations receive news in specific ways."

He stated: "Another duty of journalists and the media is to manage dialogue between denominations and religions. In fact, by creating discourse and conveying the words and news of the great figures of Islam, they can play an effective role in this meaningful connection."

In conclusion, he emphasized: "In fact, the unity and solidarity that is formed can be very influential in the decision-making and role of Islamic countries against the disbelievers and enemies."
