Iran’s three branches of power call for huge turnout of people at memorial service for martyred Leader

The three branches of power in Iran have called on the people from all walks of life to attend the memorial ceremony of the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, scheduled to be held at Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla on Sunday July 19.

The Iranian government, the Parliament and Judiciary, in a joint statement, issued a nationwide call for citizens from all walks of life, including all ethnic groups, religions, and political groups to honor the memory of the late Leader, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The joint communiqué emphasized that this grand assembly is intended to serve as a profound demonstration of national unity, loyalty to the ideals of the Revolution, and the unwavering resolve of the Iranian people to defend their beloved nation.
 
The statement added that the gathering will serve as a “clear message of stability, authority, and national solidarity to the world.”
 
The text further noted that the Leader dedicated his blessed life to protecting the independence, security, and dignity of Islamic Iran and supporting the oppressed globally, until he attained the “great blessing of martyrdom” following a “terrorist and ungentlemanly crime.”
 
Recalling the massive turnout during the farewell and funeral ceremonies—which spanned from Tehran and Qom to Najaf and Mashhad—the authorities stated that those events were a lasting testament to the nation’s loyalty.
 
The communiqué concluded by praising the bravery and sacrifice of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces, stating that the commanders and fighters standing on the front lines to defend the country’s territorial integrity and security will remain eternally etched in the memory of the Iranian people.
