Senior cleric warns of constant enemy conspiracies targeting Iran

During a meeting with Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, the prominent scholar addressed the current geopolitical landscape, noting that enemies are perpetually seeking ways to destabilize Iran through intelligence networks.

“Israel is constantly engaged in betrayal and espionage,” Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated, citing the Holy Quran: “You are constantly observing treachery from them” (5:117).

He warned that modern enemies leverage spy networks to strike Iranian nation, adding that “maintaining insight and reliance on God are the keys to the country’s honor and authority.”

Reflecting on recent regional events and the sacrifices of martyrs, the senior cleric praised those who have defended the faith and the honor of the Islamic Republic.

He remarked that these martyrs demonstrated that “divine victory transcends mere superficial calculations,” noting that Iran’s ability to stand firm against two global superpowers has exposed their weaknesses to the world.

Drawing on Quranic principles, he described Iran’s resilience as a manifestation of divine promise. “God supports the Islamic community through both unseen divine aid and the presence and faith of the people,” he said, referencing the verse: “It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers” (48:7).

Turning to the diplomatic mission in Moscow, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli urged Iran’s ambassador to Moscow to prioritize “scientific and theological dialogue” with Russia’s Muslim scholars and intellectuals.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli concluded by calling for an expansion of intellectual and theological exchange, expressing hope that through the presentation of rational and Quranic teachings, the principles of truth, justice, and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) will reach a wider global audience.
