Countries hosting U.S. military bases must await proportionate response
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a severe warning to nations hosting United States military forces, stating that those countries must prepare for “proportional responses” if they continue to allow their territories to be used for operations against Iran.

In its latest statement, the IRGC Public Relations office announced that its forces had carried out strikes against U.S. military installations in Kuwait, specifically targeting the Arifjan support base and a radar site at the Ali Al-Salem airbase.
The statement accused the United States of reigniting a conflict that “had never truly ended” by launching military actions against Iran last week, under the alleged “delusion” that Iran had been weakened. The IRGC asserted that after failing to gain an advantage in direct combat against Iranian armed forces, the U.S. had resorted to what it described as “war crimes.”
“Having realized that Iranian armed forces have become significantly stronger since the first day of the conflict on February 28, the U.S. fled the direct battlefield,” the statement claimed. It further alleged that the U.S. was now attempting to mask its military failure by attacking civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, bridges, railways, airports, ports, and telecommunications centers.
Citing the Quranic verse, “So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you” (2:194), the IRGC declared that in the absence of international bodies capable of stopping “the savagery of the U.S. Army,” it felt compelled to take direct retaliatory action.
Consequently, the IRGC explicitly warned nations hosting U.S. troops that they are effectively providing staging grounds for aggression against Iran. “It is fitting for the countries hosting the aggressor U.S. military… to be prepared to receive a corresponding response,” the statement warned, advising these nations to activate their civil defense units to protect their citizens and move them away from potential targets.
The IRGC noted that despite these provocations, it had chosen to limit its retaliation thus far to military targets to allow space for the “American enemy” to change its current approach.
In the latest development, the IRGC announced that its ground forces successfully executed “Wave 18” of “Operation Nasr-2.” Operating under the code name “Ya Abulfazl al-Abbas (AS),” the forces targeted the Arifjan support base, resulting in U.S. casualties, and deployed drones to destroy the radar facility at the Ali Al-Salem base in Kuwait. Additionally, the IRGC claimed to have destroyed a weapons maintenance hangar and a drone facility.
IRGC reiterated that its forces will continue “reciprocal countermeasures” against the enemy.
