The ceremony was attended by high-ranking state and military officials, members of the martyred Leader’s family, and thousands of citizens from all walks of life. The event was organized under the auspices of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, according to the Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
During the proceedings, mourners displayed flags and chanted slogans, including “Down with the USA” and “Down with Israel,” expressing their profound grief and demanding retribution against those responsible for the targeted assassination of the Leader and his family. https://www.taghribnews.com/images/docs/files/000730/nf00730281-1.mp4
Similar tributes were observed in other holy cities. A significant ceremony took place at the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) in Qom, which had previously hosted the initial funeral proceedings for the martyred Leader on July 7.
Simultaneously, thousands gathered at the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad—the eighth Shia Imam and grandson of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)—where the martyred Leader and his family have been laid to rest.
These memorial services follow a week of national mourning. The martyred Leader was interred at the Dar ul-Dhikr Portico within the Imam Reza shrine following six days of widespread public processions held across Tehran, Qom, Karbala, and Najaf.
