The blood of the martyred leader planted the seeds of unity in the Islamic world

The head of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan stated: "The blood of Sayyid al-Shuhada (Imam Hussain) revived Islam, and the blood of the martyred leader revived Islam and Shiism, united Muslims, and gave hope to the oppressed of the world."

Asghar Masoudi, the head of the Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore, visited Jamia Al-Muntazar and met with Ayatollah Hafiz Seyyed Riaz Hussain Najafi, a prominent religious authority and scholar of Pakistan.
 
Ayatollah Najafi, while explaining the dimensions of the martyred leader's personality, stated: "Imam Khamenei, the Supreme Jurist, was a distinguished jurist and an unparalleled leader who, in addition to strengthening the authority and capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran, guided society toward establishing Friday and congregational prayers, expanding spirituality, fostering connection with the Holy Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), and institutionalized the culture of understanding and acting upon the teachings of the Quran among the people."
 
The head of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan, referring to the effects and blessings of the martyred leader's martyrdom, said: "The blood of this martyr has strengthened unity and solidarity among the Iranian nation, the Islamic Ummah, and even the oppressed of the world."
 
He continued: "Just as the blood of Aba Abdillah al-Hussain (AS) revived Islam, the blood of the martyred leader has also revived the spirit of Islam, the Shia school of thought, and the resistance front, and is considered a valuable asset for the cohesion of the Islamic Ummah."
 
The top administrator of Jamia Al-Muntazar in Lahore added: "The blood of Sayyid al-Shuhada revived Islam, and the blood of the martyred leader revived Islam and Shiism, united Muslims, and gave hope to the oppressed of the world."
 
Ayatollah Najafi also announced his full support for the new Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and emphasized the necessity of preserving unity, cohesion, and solidarity of the Islamic Ummah in the current sensitive situation.
 
He reported the dispatch of a high-level delegation from Jamia Al-Muntazar, representing Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan, to participate in the funeral ceremony of the pure body of the martyred leader in Tehran, and considered this action a sign of solidarity of Pakistani scholars and seminaries with the nation and system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
 
Masoudi, the head of the Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore, while conveying the gratitude and appreciation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, praised the effective role, valuable guidance, and sincere support of Ayatollah Hafiz Seyyed Riaz Hussain Najafi in the magnificent holding of the memorial ceremony for the martyred leader at Minar-e-Pakistan.
 
Referring to the distinguished scientific, religious, and social status of Ayatollah Hafiz Seyyed Riaz Hussain Najafi, he stated: "The support, guidance, and active participation of His Eminence and the Jamia Al-Muntazar community in holding the mourning session on April 22, 2026, on the occasion of the martyrdom of the martyred leader, as well as their effective role in organizing the grand gathering of the 'Martyr of the Ummah Conference' at Minar-e-Pakistan on June 13, 2026, played a decisive role in realizing the objectives of these programs." He added: "The widespread presence of scholars, students, and various segments of the people, which was achieved through the efforts of various groups and great scholars along with the cooperation of Jamia Al-Muntazar, displayed a magnificent manifestation of the solidarity of the Pakistani nation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, and the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and found wide reflection in religious, cultural, and media circles in Pakistan and Iran."
 
Masoudi appreciated the wise stances and continuous support of Ayatollah Najafi for the unity of the Islamic Ummah, the resistance front, and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, and considered these stances as a valuable asset for strengthening cultural and religious relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
