Iran’s Foreign Minister has highlighted necessity of Islamic unity in face of the expansionism, genocide and colonial apartheid by Israeli regime.

Abbas Araghchi made the remarks in a meeting with his Indonesian counterpart, Sogiono, held following the funeral ceremonies of the martyred Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Minister Araghchi expressed gratitude for Indonesia’s solidarity and emphasized the vital necessity of Islamic unity against the Zionist regime’s expansionism, genocide, and colonial apartheid.
 
Furthermore, he denounced the American administration for its unprecedented violations of the UN Charter and international law, urging the international community to take decisive action to uphold the rule of law and confront global lawlessness.
 
Indonesian Foreign Minister for his part, conveyed the deep condolences of the Indonesian government and people regarding the martyrdom of the Iranian leader and several officials in the recent US-Zionist military aggression.
 
Sugiono, leading a high-level delegation including the Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly and representatives from Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah, traveled to the holy city of Mashhad to pay respects to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
