Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Hamid Shahriari, conveyed this message via Twitter, accompanying his statement with an image capturing a gathering of Shia and Sunni clerics on the sidelines of the farewell ceremony for the martyred leader of unity.

The Secretary-General’s tweet read: “This image narrates the story of a single, unified Ummah; the empathy of Islamic scholars on the path of dignity and resistance. A great lesson learned from the school of the martyred Imam.”

The message highlights the significance of inter-sectarian harmony, particularly in the context of shared struggles for dignity and resistance, drawing inspiration from the teachings of the late leader.
The senior Iranian official visited a number of foreign guests to the funeral procession of the martyred Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
