President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized that the legacy of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution serves as a roadmap for the current administration, highlighting that the strength of the Islamic Republic remains rooted in national unity and the support of its people.

In a statement released via his social media account, President Pezeshkian reflected on the profound lessons imparted by the martyred Leader, stating: “The martyred Leader taught everyone that Iran’s greatest asset is its people and their unity.”

The President further linked this legacy to his administration’s guiding principles of consensus and public service. Quoting the Holy Quran—“Say, ‘I advise you only one thing: that you stand up for God, in pairs or individually” (Surah Saba, 34:46)—Pezeshkian underscored his commitment to these values.

“Today, by acting upon the divine command to ‘stand up for the sake of God,’ and through empathy, national consensus (vefagh), and honest service to the people, we will continue along the path of dignity, progress, and the triumph of Iran,” the President affirmed.
 
The comment by the Iranian president comes on the funeral day of the martyred Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
 
Millions of people, among them foreign devotees from across the world, descended in the Iranian capital Tehran to mark three days of mourning and bidding a final farewell with the martyred Leader.
