TEHRAN — Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Political Council of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, has stated that the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has acted as a catalyst for a transformative new phase, bringing significant strategic achievements to the Islamic Republic and the Axis of Resistance.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the book “The Dawn of a New Global Order,” al-Bukhaiti reflected on the immense legacy of the martyred Leader, noting his monumental contributions to the Islamic Revolution, his unwavering defense of the Palestinian cause, and his steadfast support for the Resistance movements in Lebanon and across the region.

“His leadership served the cause of Islam and humanity for years,” al-Bukhaiti said. “However, his martyrdom has also paved the way for a new stage which, in my assessment, has yielded critical strategic gains for both Iran and the entire Axis of Resistance.”

Al-Bukhaiti addressed the failed objectives of the US-led aggression against the Islamic Republic, asserting that Washington’s ultimate goal—the overthrow of the Islamic establishment—has been decisively thwarted. He added that efforts to strip Iran and regional nations of their right to self-defense have likewise met with total failure.

“Iran’s decisive response to the Zionist regime’s provocations and the establishment of new deterrence equations have significantly bolstered the unity of the Resistance front,” the Yemeni official stated. “We have reached a point where any act of aggression against a single member of this Axis will be met with a unified response from all members.”

Commenting on the transition of leadership following the martyrdom of the late Leader, al-Bukhaiti praised the selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader, noting that it effectively bridged the vacuum left by the loss and preserved the stability and cohesion of the Islamic Republic.

“By closely monitoring field developments, the state of war, and diplomatic negotiations, my conviction has only grown,” al-Bukhaiti concluded. “The current management of the battlefield and the guidance of political and diplomatic processes clearly reflect the wisdom and authority of the new leadership.”
