Supporting the Oppressed and Strengthening Resistance Fronts is a Moral Necessity
An Iranian university professor, emphasizing the need for conscious unity among Islamic nations, said that the solidarity of the Islamic Ummah must be regarded as a moral and historical imperative to confront oppression, modern colonialism, and global injustice.

According to the Taghrib News Agency, Lotfiyeh Dooji, an Iranian university professor, speaking at the international webinar "Imam Khamenei; The Martyr of Unity" organized by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, cited the holy verse "Hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided" and stated: Today's world is in a critical situation—one in which security, cultural, and social crises exceed the capacity of any single country and require cooperation and unity among nations.
She added: Conscious unity is not merely a political or economic alliance, but a deep bond based on human and moral values and resistance against oppression—a unity that can steer the world away from the rule of force toward a more just order.
The university professor stated that history has shown that no civilization has achieved lasting victory through fragmentation and self-centeredness, and noted: True victory is achieved not through individual power, but through collective cohesion and action centered on justice and truth.
She described the Islamic Ummah as possessing vast historical and civilizational capacity, and said: The Islamic Ummah, beyond a religious concept, is a social and civilizational reality that, with its shared heritage, cultural identity, and intertwined destiny, can play a significant role in the future of the world.
Dooji further emphasized Iran's position in this path, stating: Due to its civilizational background, strategic location, and resistance to external pressures, Iran has become a central figure in the movement of solidarity and defense of the values of nations.
She asserted: Iran's emphasis on the solidarity of the Islamic Ummah is not merely a political slogan, but a strategy for safeguarding independence, progress, and effective presence on the global stage.
The university professor, addressing regional crises and violations of nations' rights, said: The killing of civilians, the denial of basic human rights, and the violation of justice have challenged the global conscience. In such circumstances, supporting the oppressed and strengthening resistance fronts is a moral necessity.
She added: Iran, relying on internal unity and ties with regional forces, has displayed a model of resilience that can offer hope to independent nations.
In conclusion, Dooji noted: Today's world needs leaders who seek unity, not domination, more than ever before—because only through solidarity can lasting justice and true victory be realized.
