According to the Taghrib News Agency, the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) issued a statement following the announcement of an initial understanding between Iran and the United States, which is as follows:
 
"The patient and proud people of Iran, and the brave and courageous children of the nation within the country's powerful armed forces and the resistance front, with the grace of the Almighty Lord and under the obedience of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, by imposing their divine and steel-like will upon the weak American and Zionist enemies, have proven with power that they have no choice but to accept defeat and surrender before the resurrected people and the soldiers of the Almighty Lord."
