According to the Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, wrote in a message addressed to the President of Lebanon on his personal X social media account: "Based on Mr. Aoun's statements, it seems that Iran is the one that has occupied one-fifth of Lebanon's land, displaced one-quarter of the Lebanese, and bombs his country daily."
He emphasized that if Lebanon were a bargaining chip for Iran, we would have reached an agreement long ago.
Araghchi advised Aoun: "Save Lebanon from your real enemy, Mr. President!"
Joseph Aoun, the President of Lebanon, without referring to the roots of Hezbollah's conflict with the Zionist regime, accused Iran of using Lebanon as a "bargaining chip" in negotiations with the United States.
