Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani addressed the current political climate and the importance of national cohesion highlighting the importance of unity in overcoming national challenges, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He described solidarity as the primary step toward success, noting that a divided society is like a person fallen into a well, unable to navigate its way out.
 
“To emerge from the current crises, unity of word and cohesion is the first step toward our victory,” he asserted and added, “It is essential that we speak with a single voice and pursue a unified objective.”
 
Referring to the current foreign policy, Ayatollah Sobhani concluded: “We must observe the results of the negotiations. If we can truly secure our foundations, maintain our independence, and fulfill the aspirations of our nation, that is the ideal outcome. However, if we fail to achieve those goals, we must then make a different decision.”
 
“I believe the solution lies in a balanced approach,” he added. “We must speak with strength and power, be prepared for defense, and simultaneously be open to negotiation.”
