OIC denounces Israeli aggression against Lebanon

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned, in strongest terms, the Israeli attacks against Lebanon calling that a breach of the sovereignty of the Arab country.

The OIC General Secretariat described the Israeli regime’s attacks that led to the destruction of villages and archaeological sites in southern Lebanon, as flagrant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, international law, and international humanitarian law.
 
The international Islamic body noted that the continued Israeli attacks constitute a serious threat to security and stability in the region.
 
Reaffirming the OIC’s unwavering support for and solidarity with Lebanon, its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, the General Secretariat called upon the international community to take immediate action to halt this aggression.
 
The statement by OIC comes as the Israeli regime pushes ahead with the deadly strikes against towns and villages in southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire between Beirut and Tel Aviv regime.
