According to the Taghrib News Agency(TNA), the Society, referring to continuous reports of arbitrary arrests, revocation of citizenship, restrictions imposed on the expression of religious beliefs, and the targeting of Shia religious scholars, activists, and community leaders, stated that the current situation in Bahrain remains deeply concerning. It also expressed concern over further reports of the detention and persecution of prominent Shia scholars, which the organization believes has sparked widespread concern across the Islamic world.
The Society emphasized that the Bahraini regime continues to deepen its relations with Israel despite the strong opposition of the Bahraini people, who have consistently stood with the oppressed people of Palestine and rejected the normalization of relations with the occupiers.
The Society stressed that the continued presence of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain clearly demonstrates the extent to which some regimes in the region rely on external military support rather than genuine popular legitimacy.
The Society reminded the Gulf regimes that alliances based on repression, subservience to American power, and partnership with the Zionist regime will not be forgotten by the people of the region or by history. It emphasized that political power is temporary, but the will of the people and the call for justice are enduring.
The Ahlulbayt Islamic Society noted that efforts to extinguish religious rites, strip citizens of their national identity, and suppress peaceful demands for justice will never eliminate the aspirations of a faithful and steadfast people striving for dignity, freedom, and self-determination.
The AIM Society declared its strong solidarity with the oppressed people of Bahrain, appreciated their patience, resistance, and sacrifices, and emphasized that falsehood, no matter how powerful it may appear, is temporary, and the banner of Islam, justice, and resistance against oppression will ultimately prevail, by the will of God.
