Clerics and scholars of different spectrums in Syrian Homs called for declaring the prohibition of any form of engaging in acts against the army and law enforcement forces and the rejection of foreign interference and the Arab League's decisions against Syria.

Governor of Homs , Ghassan Abdul-Aal, and a number of the governorate's notables and scholars of different spectrums discussed on Tuesday the ideas and proposals to be implemented to foil the attempts at sowing sedition among the governorate's people and restore trust in the unity of the society.

Abdul-Aal said the current circumstances demand that all the Homeland's sons do their best and offer the most they have towards alleviating the impacts of the crisis Syria is going through and overcoming the obstacles in the way of boosting cooperation among the society members.

They participants in the meeting stressed the necessity of working to confront the conspiracy targeting Syria and chase the armed terrorist groups and hand them over to the authorities.

They also called for declaring the prohibition of any form of engaging in acts against the army and law enforcement forces and the rejection of foreign interference and the Arab League's decisions against Syria.

The participants called for forming a committee of all the spectrums of society to meet every week to monitor the current events and the developments and work on confronting them. The committee is to make constant contacts to include all the spectrums and coordinate efforts in the service of the homeland and the citizens.

They highlighted the importance of releasing the detainees who are not involved in killing and boosting the role of the notables in confronting the sedition some tendentious media are trying to promote.
