Exposure of US CIA informants in Lebanon

TNA - Beirut- Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem on Tuesday commented on a report concerning the alleged exposure of US Central Intelligence Agency informants in Lebanon, saying that “America is attempting to molest the stability of Lebanon.”

“The US is trying to mess with the stability of Lebanon and interfere to serve Israeli interests,” the National News Agency quoted Qassem as saying.

Considering that "such an issue shows the existing of active US intelligence in Lebanon," His eminence viewed that "this reflects the US failure in achieving its wills."

“They justify their failure by saying that their spy networks were exposed,” he said.

"They want to clear their names if they were to suffer more of paralysis and failure as they are facing now in Lebanon. They justify their failure by saying that their spy networks were exposed," Qassem clarified

"U.S. today is not at its best position as it is suffering from repeated failure in different locations in the world," His eminence explained adding that "U.S. is trying to control the tunes in the new Middle East according to its vision, but it is suffering various loses." 

Qassem also said that the US and Israel “will not achieve their goals” in the Middle East.

He also commented on the regional developments by saying: "As you hear noise and witness political and media pressure on Iran, Syria, and resistance forces, do not feel that America has been able to score a progress, but on the contrary, what matters is what is happening on the ground."

""Israel" knows very well that this region is not available to it, and US knows that any aggression no matter how small on any part may lead to high risks in the entire region."

Reiterating that "U.S. and "Israel" can start a war with a first strike, but they can't know where the results of such an action would lead," Sheikh Qassem vowed that "U.S. and "Israel" will not achieve their goals in the Middle East."

It is to note that The Los Angeles Times reported late Sunday that US Central Intelligence Agency operations in Lebanon have been rocked by the arrest of a series of informants.
