Gaza death toll rising as Israel launches fresh attacks across strip
More Palestinians have fallen victim to fresh Israeli strikes across Gaza despite a ceasefire in the war-torn territory.

Gaza Health Ministry has confirmed at least eight people were killed and several more were injured as a result of the Israeli aggression, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Gaza hospitals have reported receiving the bodies of two people martyred in the regime’s strikes on south, four people martyred in the center and two more from attacks centered on northern parts of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli drones targeted the "Al-Mawasi" area west of Khan Yunis on Sunday. The west and south of Gaza City were also targeted by Israeli drone attacks leaving a number of injured, some of them in critical condition.
Al-Quds Hospital also reported the arrival of nine injured people following an attack around the radio and television building in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood.
In addition, several people were injured following shelling of Al-Baraka Street in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. Reports also indicate that a cafe in Gaza City was targeted, as well as another attack on a group of Palestinians in the same area.
Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, 2025, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has continued to rise, reaching 72,763, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 172,664 others have also been injured.
Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025, the number of those killed and injured has reached 871 and 2,562, respectively. At least 776 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble.
