Anyone Fueling Division Aids the Enemy’s Plan

The Friday Prayer Leader of Tehran has warned against divisive voices, stressing that any voice that fans the flames of discord—whether knowingly or unknowingly—is in fact aiding the enemy’s plan.

Hujjatul-Islam Mohammad Javad Haj Ali Akbari, speaking in his Friday sermon on May 1, quoted the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), as saying:
“Anyone who disrupts the united and cohesive ranks is an agent of Satan, whether they know it or not,” reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said, “The second fundamental point is the issue of national unity and cohesion. This matter is very important, and this cohesion and unity must be preserved.” He added, “Our enemies, who are the embodiment of Satan and whose specialty lies in creating polarization and sowing discord, are seeking to divide the various strata of the Iranian nation.”

The senior cleric noted, “Today, we mark the sixty-second day since the martyrdom of our martyred Leader, and the Iranian nation has displayed an unparalleled level of insight, loyalty, courage, perseverance, fortitude, and awareness in recognizing and confronting the enemy.”

He continued, “Our dear leader, Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, has played a unique role over the past two months. Despite the deep sorrow over the martyrdom of his loved ones, amid conditions of full-scale warfare and heightened security, and with over three decades of devoted effort and expertise in national affairs, he has, through a scholarly and jurisprudential perspective, a courageous spirit, and steadfastness, opened new horizons for the continued progress of the Iranian nation.”

In another part of his sermon, the Friday Prayer Leader praised the constructive role of workers, commending their perseverance and continued efforts during the US–Israeli aggression against Iran.

On the eve of National Teachers’ Day in Iran, the cleric also commended the country’s teachers, emphasizing that beyond addressing their demands, their esteemed status should be further elevated through artistic works that highlight the value of educators.
