Memorial for Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei in the Heart of Europe; "Imamate and Leadership" Conference to be Held in Vienna

Organized by Iran's Cultural Office in Austria – the Iranians Wisdom House – a specialized conference titled "Imamate and Leadership: Historical-Theoretical Explanation of the Continuity of Leadership in Islamic Thought" will be held on April 25.

According to the Taghrib News Agency, this important conference, dedicated to honoring the memory of the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, will be held with the presence of three distinguished thinkers and researchers.

Salim Af Hadzic, a graduate of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Vienna; Amir Hor, a professor at the University of Vienna and researcher of Islamic history; and Reza Gholami, Iran's Cultural Attaché in Austria and professor of political philosophy, cultural and civilizational studies, are the speakers at this conference.

Those interested in deep intellectual, historical, and political discussions of Islam, particularly the issue of Imamate and leadership in Sunni and Shi'a Islamic thought, will have the opportunity to attend this meaningful and academic event.

This program will be one of the most significant intellectual and cultural events of the Iranians Wisdom House in Austria, taking place on Friday, April 25, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
