The Zionist ambassador to Egypt, returned to Cairo after two months after his escape with the members of the Zionist embassy following an attack by angry crowds of Egyptians on the Zionist embassy building.

Ambassador Yitzhak Bannon arrived on a plane belonging to the Turkish Airlines coming from Istanbul, according to what an Egyptian source told AFP.
 
Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed that Bannon returned to Cairo on a goodbye journey for his connections in the Egyptian capital before turning to retirement. 

An official "Israeli" source said that the new "Israeli" ambassador to Egypt, Jacob Amitai will arrive to Cairo next month and take his duties as ambassador, but he explained that the "Israeli" embassy will not return to its normal course of work before completing the required security measures. 

According to "Yedioth Ahronoth" , newspaper, the "Israeli" embassy will not be as the same diplomat size as it was before, only three holders of top positions among the seven who were in the embassy two months ago will remain there, remaining staff will be transferred to work in other countries, because of the difficult circumstances they are facing the "Israeli" embassy in Cairo.
