The Deputy for Legal and International Affairs of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the statements made by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as unprofessional and destructive, emphasizing: "The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly objects to these biased and passive remarks by the IAEA Director General and issues a serious warning in response."
Gharibabadi Warns Grossi: IAEA Chief
Kazem Gharibabadi, the Deputy for Legal and International Affairs of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reacted to the approach of the IAEA Director General in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating: "Mr. Grossi has so far done nothing useful regarding Iran; on the contrary, every so often he only makes the situation worse with his destructive statements."

Gharibabadi referred to the recent remarks by the IAEA Director General, noting: "In his latest comments, Grossi said, 'No war can destroy Iran's nuclear capability unless it is a nuclear war.' He also added, 'I hope that does not happen.'"

The Deputy Foreign Minister raised the question: "Is he the Director General of an international organization or a media analyst?" He further asserted: "To date, he has failed to condemn attacks on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities, including the two recent incursions into the Bushehr power plant compound. Instead of issuing serious warnings about the effects of war on Iran's safeguarded nuclear program or any use of other destructive and illegal weapons, he is outlining ways to dismantle Iran's legitimate and lawful nuclear activities!"

Gharibabadi emphasized: "The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly objects to these biased and passive remarks by the IAEA Director General and issues a serious warning in response."
