According to the Taghrib News Agency, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, wrote in a post on his personal X account: "We are definitely not seeking a ceasefire; we believe the aggressor must be hit in the mouth so that it learns a lesson never to think of attacking our beloved Iran again. The Zionist regime sees its disgraceful existence in perpetuating the cycle of 'war-negotiation-ceasefire and then war again' to consolidate its domination. We will break this cycle."
