He highlighted that the stories of past nations, as presented in the Qur’an, are meant to inspire reflection and help societies avoid repeating the mistakes of earlier civilizations.
During his remarks at Imam Javad Mosque, he noted that despite the modern world’s claims of prioritizing human rights, major humanitarian crises often receive insufficient global attention. He pointed to examples of large‑scale human suffering that, in his view, have not been adequately addressed by international advocates.
He also referenced various moral and ethical challenges emerging in contemporary societies, describing them as signs of deeper cultural and spiritual decline.
According to him, these issues reflect a broader erosion of values and a growing disconnect from ethical foundations.
The cleric further stated that the downfall of corrupt civilizations is a recurring and unchanging principle in divine tradition. When injustice and moral decay reach their peak, he said, no worldly power—whether ancient symbols of authority or modern political figures—can prevent the eventual collapse of oppressive systems.
