​​​​​​​Sheikh Ali Damoush, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, emphasized that the party remains committed to its legitimate right to confront Israeli aggression, stressing that resistance will continue to be a symbol of Lebanon’s dignity and pride.

According to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Damoush made these remarks during a ceremony honoring the jihadist groups that assisted the Lebanese people in addressing the aftermath of the 2024 Israeli aggression and its consequences.
He stated: “Hezbollah will continue its legitimate right of resistance against Israeli aggression, and no one can abolish this resistance or its right to defend and exist.”
He added that Lebanon’s history will never erase the sacrifices and achievements of the resistance in liberating and protecting the country.
Sheikh Damoush also stressed the responsibility of the Lebanese government to stop the aggression, safeguard national sovereignty, and avoid offering concessions without securing tangible gains.
He called on the government to uphold its promises regarding reconstruction and to take swift, practical measures to improve the living conditions of the people and ensure the return of displaced families.
Damoush noted that Hezbollah supports every effort aimed at advancing this cause. Despite obstacles created by certain domestic and international institutions to hinder aid to Lebanon, he affirmed that Hezbollah will continue cooperating with its allies and providing support to the patient and resilient Lebanese people.
