24 Iranian Cities to Host Qur’an Exhibition During Ramadan
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamidreza Arbab Soleimani, the Qur’an Affairs Deputy at Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, said at a press conference for the 33rd International Qur’an Exhibition that, in addition to the capital, Tehran, 24 other cities across the country are scheduled to host the event during the fasting month of Ramadan, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) reported.

He noted that the Qur’an exhibitions scheduled to be held during Ramadan will help fulfill part of what Muslims owe to the holy book of Islam.

He also expressed regret over the desecration of the Qur’an during the recent terrorist attacks against Iran and emphasized the need to introduce the lofty and beautiful teachings of the Qur’an as a way to overcome the critical conditions resulting from those incidents.

The cleric described as “ignorant” those who confront the holy Qur’an and said, “The holy book of Islam is an everlasting miracle, and such sacrilegious acts do not harm it.”
