Global arrogance fears expansion of Islamic revolution
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought described the influence and expansion of Islamic Revolution as what stoke fear in global arrogance and confront it through both soft and hard warfare.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari highlighted the spiritual power behind Iran’s Islamic Revolution stressing that the great uprising was manifested in the personality of Imam Khomeini (RA), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The remarks came in a message by the senior cleric ahead of the 47th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Dr. Shahriari referred to the inner sense of power that enabled him to overthrow the monarchical regime, adding that this strength stemmed from his connection to divine authority.
“Imam Khomeini awakened a nation and instilled in them the belief that they could overthrow a subservient regime”, said the Iranian cleric describing the Islamic Revolution as a movement unprecedented in over a thousand years of Islamic history.
He added that the victory of the Revolution 47 years ago in transforming Iran’s political landscape and linking republicanism with Islam was the result of the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
“It is the influence and expansion of the Islamic Revolution that has caused global arrogance to fear it and to confront it through both soft and hard warfare,” he said.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari noted that today the Islamic Republic of Iran has not only achieved security within its borders, but has also extended its role in safeguarding security, independence, and freedom beyond them, while its adversaries are still struggling to define their own identities.
Calling on the Iranian nation to participate in the rallies marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution on February 11 (22 Bahman), Dr. Shahriari said that the people, through their massive turnout, would send a clear message to the world and reaffirm their support for the Revolution.
Concluding his message, he said it is a source of pride for the Islamic Republic that it has outlined a model of freedom allowing people of different ethnicities and backgrounds to live together peacefully.
He added that following the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Sunni religious schools were established, enabling Sunni communities to educate their own scholars — a model, he said, that can be presented to the world.
