India Shia society voices support for Leader of Islamic Revolution
A major Shia community in India has stressed its support for the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei amid U.S. threats of a military action against Iran.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Javad Heidar Rizvi, president of the Shia Olama Assembly of India, highlighted the ‘sensitive and decisive moments’ the Islamic ummah is in warning against the U.S. and Israeli regime for jeopardizing global peace and security, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said, “The threat and conspiracy against the great authority of the Islamic world, the supreme jurist and guardian of Muslims, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is not simply aimed at a single individual; rather, it is considered a clear attack on the dignity of the Islamic nation and its identity” and added,” This action is not a political disagreement, but a declaration of open hostility towards Islam and Muslims.”
Heidar Rizvi emphasized that Ayatollah Khamenei as not only the political leader of a country, but also a religious authority and a respected jurist for Muslims and free people around the world.
The cleric noted,” The voice of freedom for the Holy Quds, the hope of the oppressed of Palestine, and the source of encouragement for the resistant nations of Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, are tied to his wise guidance and leadership.”
According to the Indian scholar, Leader’s character and insight teach us that in the face of oppression, the path of believers is not surrender, but conscious resistance with patience, wisdom, and unity.
The Shia Ulema Council of India declared that any threat against the Leader is in fact a challenge to the entire Islamic Ummah, and such an approach is clearly in conflict with human values, international principles, and Islamic teachings.
It urged all scholars, thinkers, political and social figures, and all free and conscientious people, regardless of religious and sectarian differences, to condemn this oppression with a single voice and remain steadfast in the position of truth and justice.
