Real terrorism is taking place against civilians in Gaza

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Hassan Mousavi Safavi, the head of the Shia Council of Jammu and Kashmir, strongly condemned the recent European Union decision to declare the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist organization, calling it a "political, intolerable move contrary to the principles of international law".

Emphasizing that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is one of the official, legal institutions that emerged from the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he stated: "The European Union's action is not only a clear example of political interference in Iran's internal affairs, but also indicates the blind alignment of this union with the policies of the United States of America and the Zionist regime."

Policies that have been directly responsible for decades of war, occupation, and gross violations of human rights in the region.

Referring to the ongoing developments in Gaza Strip, the head of the Jammu and Kashmir Shia Sharia Association stated: "World public opinion has clearly witnessed how the Zionist regime, with the full political, military, and financial support of America, has carried out widespread killings of civilians, especially women and children, and has created clear examples of genocide and state terrorism."

According to the cleric, the silence or complicity of Western countries, including some European governments, in the face of these crimes has completely called into question their alleged legitimacy in defending human rights.

He added: "The European Union is targeting an official Iranian defense institution for political labeling while it has either remained silent or has practically become an accomplice to the daily crimes of the Zionist regime against the oppressed Palestinian people. This obvious dichotomy shows that the declared standards of human rights are merely a political tool to pressure independent countries."
