A group of Muslim scholars from across the globe have highlighted the role of Islamic unity in confrontation with the enemies stressing that as the sole way to boost power against shared enemies of Islam.

The clerics made the remarks at the international webinar on ‘World from the Last Messenger to the Savior of World’ held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on the eve of the 15th of Shaban celebrations which mark the birth anniversary of the 12th Shia Imam, Hazrat Mahdi (AS), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Top Iraqi cleric, Sheikh Mohammad al-Bayati, in his speech, emphasized the key role of Islamic unity calling that a reason for supremacy of Muslims despite all contemporary challenges.”
He said,” The array of Muslims in a line will turn them into a power that could not be underestimated by anyone.”
He warned against the U.S. and Israeli regime as the common enemies of the Islamic nation urging Muslims to avoid them and fight them back.
Molavi Hussam, Afghan Sunni scholar and member of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, speaking at the same webinar reiterated Islamic unity and said,” We Muslims must underline the four principles of monotheism, prophecy of Muhammad (PBUH), holy Qur’an and Qibla (praying direction) among ourselves.”
The Sunni cleric stressed solidarity as the sole way to save Muslims urging them to stand united in face of the enemies.
Dr Emad Hamrouni, university professor from France, described the wars that the United States sparked in Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon as a proof for oppression of Washington warning that the U.S. administration is in constant efforts to maintain its dominance over the world nations.
The French professor referred to the U.S. bases in the region as its weak point and urged the global support for the Iranian people in face of the oppressors.
He called the resistance in Iran as the opposite point to the global crimes and hailed the Iranian nation as an example of a perseverant nation and the brilliant image of Islam.
Also speaking at this webinar, Noureddine Boulahia, university professor from Algiers stressed that the Islamic unity is materialized only through a return to holy Qur’an and Prophet of Islam.
He said,” Islamic unity does not translate to merely convening the dispersed people rather it should happen based on the firm principles like holy Qur’an and the tradition of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).”
Another speaker at the online conference, Sheikh Maher Abdul Razzaq, underscored the Qur’anic teachings that call Muslims to solidarity among themselves and warned,” When disagreement and sedition are created, then the power and identity of the nation fade away.
