Iraqi Researcher: Unity among Muslims is the only path to confronting threats

He added that the Holy Qur’an is the foundation of Islamic identity, the only divine book that has remained unchanged, and a source of guidance and light for all humanity.
Al‑Bayati noted that the Prophet (PBUH) and the Qur’an are the pillars of Islamic unity, explaining that the Qur’an brings Muslims together and unifies their hearts.
He stressed that Islamic unity is of utmost importance and serves as a source of strength in the face of contemporary challenges.
Highlighting the urgency of unity in the current era, he said the Muslim Ummah is confronted with major threats from the enemies of Islam and humanity. Therefore, unity is essential for maintaining strength and resilience.
Al‑Bayati emphasized that when Muslims stand together as one, they become a force that no one can underestimate.
He urged Muslims to unite based on the Qur’an and the pure Sunnah of the Prophet, to cooperate with one another, exchange experiences and interests, show mutual respect, and avoid disputes and conflicts.
He added that the Ummah must remain aware of what is happening around it and avoid falling for messages of discord and division.
Warning against the dangers of sedition, he said that fitnah is among the greatest threats facing the Muslim Ummah, and Muslims must avoid anything that leads to it.
Al‑Bayati reminded that the Ummah shares a common destiny and that all Muslims are in the same vessel, facing the same enemy.
He stressed that global arrogance—represented by Zionist and American powers—is the common enemy of the Islamic Ummah and all humanity, describing them as the embodiment of the “Great Satan.” Muslims, he said, must remain vigilant and resist these forces.
He concluded by stating that unity is an absolute necessity for confronting all these challenges and the only path to achieving true victory and empowerment.
