Any threat against Leader remains red line for Islamic nation

1- The personality of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, is a symbol of unity, independence, and dignity of the Iranian nation and is respected by hundreds of millions of Muslims and free people around the world. Any threat against his eminence is considered a red line for the Islamic Ummah and a crossing of all boundaries of international diplomacy. We consider such statements as unforgivable hostility and a clear sign of the arrogance and deep enmity of the US regime towards Islam and Muslims.

2-The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as an integral part of the Iranian Armed Forces, has played an unparalleled role in defending the country's territorial integrity, confronting Daesh terrorism and regional Takfiri groups, and establishing global stability and security. The European Union's action in labeling this security and defense institution is not only discredited and influenced by the insinuations of the main enemies of peace, but it is also a betrayal of the thousands of martyrs who sacrificed their blood on the frontline of the fight against real terrorists. This action is a sign of blindly following America's failed policies and a clear violation of the principles of national sovereignty of countries. And this foolishness will soon engulf Europe itself.

3-With this biased decision, the European Union has lost its credibility and remaining trust with the nations in the region and the world, and has turned itself into a tool for achieving the Zionist and American war-mongering goals. We call on European governments to return to their rationality and long-term regional interests and abandon this deviant path.
4-We, Muslim scholars of all faiths, condemn these hostile positions and emphasize the unity of our word in defending the sanctities of Islam, the sanctity of the leadership, and the defense institutions of the Islamic Ummah. The common enemy, today, is seeking to weaken the will of all Muslims by attacking the symbols of resistance. The time has come for minor differences to be set aside and the ranks of the Islamic Ummah to be united against the arrogant powers.

5-While warning the enemies about the dangerous consequences of continuing this threatening and provocative practice, we assure the great nation of Iran and all the resilient nations of the region that these threats and conspiracies will not only fail to undermine their will, but will also increase their determination to maintain independence, dignity, and all-round progress. The Iranian nation and its revolutionary institutions are too strong to be intimidated by such dramatic gestures.

The signatories of the statement, among them Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and Mohammad Es’haq Madani, the chairman as well as the members of the supreme council at the major Islamic unity center, emphasized their support for the Leader of Islamic Republic and IRGC.
