For 47 years, the Iranian nation has repeatedly proven that Iran cannot be subdued
According to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi made these remarks during a late‑night inspection of a military unit’s readiness.

He stated that the Iranian people have consistently stood firm against the hegemonic and aggressive behavior of the United States, forcing it into repeated failures. He added that during the recent complex, multi‑layered, and terrorist‑driven confrontation, the Iranian nation disrupted the enemy’s calculations.
Mousavi emphasized that for nearly five decades, the Iranian people have shown that Iran cannot be overpowered, and that those who refuse to learn this lesson will ultimately be defeated.
He criticized those who, in recent months, promoted the narrative of a “weak Iran,” saying they must now either retract their claims or face the regional force of Iran’s power.
The Major General recalled that in 1979, despite difficult conditions, the Iranian people stood against the global powers for eight years and prevailed. He noted that in the recent 12‑day conflict, Iran thwarted a 20‑year strategic plan of the United States and Israel, and similarly defeated their destabilizing efforts during the unrest of previous years.
Mousavi warned that Iran’s armed forces are more motivated than ever to confront any threat. He said that the desire to avenge recent attacks remains strong, and that even the smallest hostile action would open the way for a decisive response.
According to him, the world will witness a different face of a powerful Iran—one in which no American would feel secure, and regional flames would engulf the United States and its allies.
He added that if a war were to break out, the men and women of the resistance would eliminate any foreign presence in the region.
Mousavi also dismissed claims about the possibility of a naval blockade against Iran, stating that those who make such remarks should revisit basic geography and geopolitics, as Iran’s vast and strategic position makes it impossible to besiege.
The Chief of Staff explained that after the 12‑day conflict and continued hostile actions by the U.S. and Israel, Iran revised its defense doctrine, shifting toward an offensive strategy based on rapid, extensive, and asymmetric operations. He stressed that Iran’s response would be swift, decisive, and unconstrained by American calculations.
He concluded by affirming that the Islamic Republic, relying on divine promise, the resilience of its people, and the strength of its armed forces under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, will never show the slightest negligence in confronting its enemies. Mousavi ended by saying that Iran seeks only victory and is fully prepared to deliver a forceful retaliatory blow, unfazed by the enemy’s noise or outward displays of power.
