Protesters waved flags of Iran, Turkey, Palestine and the Hezbollah movement chanting slogans in support of the just objectives of the resistance front, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Participants also held signs reading “We are a Nation, We are Brothers and We will Win”, “Resistance is front for Ummah” and “Down with USA”.

The demonstration was held amid tensions in the region with the U.S. deploying forces in the Persian Gulf threatening Iran with military action if the Islamic Republic does not abide by Washington’s conditions for a deal.

The new deployment follows a series of terrorist attacks in Iran that happened after initial peaceful protests over the constant devaluation of the national currency.

U.S. officials, mostly President Donald Trump had voiced support for the rioters threatening Tehran with military action if it takes measure to quell the attacks.
