The Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has renewed pledges with the late founder of the Islamic Revolution in a ceremony held at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini on Saturday morning.

The visit by Ayatollah Khamenei was held on the eve of the ceremonies marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Earlier, Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian and his cabinet members paid tribute to late Imam Khomeini (RA) renewing their support for the high objectives of the Islamic Revolution.
 
The visit by the Leader and top Iranian officials are held at the beginning of the Ten Days of Dawn ceremonies that mark the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
 
Iran is celebrating the 47th anniversary of the popular uprising led by late Imam Khomeini (RA) that toppled the former regime of Pahlavi.
