Russia, China, Pakistan call for U.S. non-interference in Iran domestic affairs

The UN ambassadors from Russia, China and Pakistan have called on the United States not to interfere in internal affairs of Iran.

At a UN Security Council meeting held at the demand of the United States, Russian, Chinese and Pakistani ambassadors stressed that the UN Charter on non-interference in internal affairs of other countries should be respected.
 
The Russian ambassador said that Russia resolutely condemns all forms of foreign intervention, provoking violence and use of force against its friend Iran.
 
The Chinese representative said that Iran is an advocate of implementation of UN Charter and not interfering in other countries' affairs.
 
The Pakistani ambassador also called for respecting the UN Charter and non-interference in internal affairs of other countries.
 
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called the United States move to hold United Nations Security Council (UNSC) emergency meeting regarding unrests in Iran as “escape forward.”
 
Following the Thursday meeting of the UNSC, Araghchi emphasized in a phone call with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres that the direct role of the Zionist regime in arming and organizing the terrorists and the US support from them was obvious in recent unrests in Iran.
