UNRWA: Gaza children deprived of most basic rights

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees said the Palestinian children in Gaza are deprived of their most basic rights reiterating the need for supply of humanitarian aid for the minors in the war-ravaged territory.

UNRWA, in its latest statement, stressed the need for heating supplies, sufficient food and security for Gaza children, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The UN agency expressed regret over the grave need for humanitarian supplies while the Israeli regime prevents entry of aid trucks to the besieged strip.
 
Meanwhile, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has warned against Israel’s deliberate blockade of the humanitarian aid in Gaza Strip amid freezing weather condition.
 
The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to claim more lives as Israel prevents entry of aid trucks in Gaza in violation of ceasefire deal between the regime and Hamas resistance movement.
