12 new titles unveiled by center for Islamic proximity research center

The Center for proximity research center has marked Research Week unveiling a dozen scholarly books, in a ceremony attended by prominent clerics and elites.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, the Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and former director of the center, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki attended the ceremony, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The new publications cover a wide range of topics, from studies of Ismaili Bahra traditions to analyses of religious currents across Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan. Other works examine the intellectual foundations of modern Mu‘tazilite thought, the role of Naqshbandiyya in Turkey, and the jurisprudence of ISIS.
 
The collection also includes a comprehensive study of perspectives on Islamic unity and proximity, underscoring the Center’s mission to deepen understanding of religious movements and promote dialogue among Islamic schools of thought.
 
Among the titles unveiled in this ceremony are Bahra: A Study of the Beliefs, Customs, and Traditions of the Ismaili Bahra Community by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Jalal Miraqayi, An Introduction to Religious Currents in Iraq by Hojjat al-Islam Mostafa Eskandari and also An Introduction to Religious Currents in Syria by Hojjat al-Islam Zabihollah Naeimian.
