Iranian Diplomat Stresses Cultural Diplomacy as a Platform for Human Cohesion in a Turbulent World

According to Taghrib News Agency (TNA), Speaking Monday evening on the sidelines of the International Conference on Cinematic Cooperation, held concurrently with the 43rd Fajr International Film Festival in Shiraz, Baghaei praised the presence of cultural and cinematic officials from various countries.

He stated that the main goal of the gathering is to identify and activate the potential for bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Iran and other nations in the fields of culture and art, particularly cinema.
Baghaei noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has already had successful experiences in joint cultural collaborations with numerous countries, and now the time has come to expand these interactions to wider geographical and cultural domains.
He further stressed the full readiness of the Foreign Ministry’s cultural diplomacy division to develop international exchanges in complete coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
Referring to the current global situation, which he described as heavily influenced by domination and deceit, Baghaei underlined that such conferences and cultural festivals are essential platforms for safeguarding fundamental human values and overcoming factors that drive people apart.
