The text of the statement reads:
“The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the anti-Iranian action of the Australian government against the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps.
The reckless decision of the dependent Australian government, aligned with the sinister goals of the hegemonic system led by the terror‑sponsoring United States and serving the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist regime, is nothing more than baseless and biased claims made under pressure from the U.S. and Israel. This action reflects a lack of proper understanding of international and global realities.
Such measures will only strengthen the determination of the heroic Iranian nation to enhance its defensive power and will result in greater support from the people of Iran and freedom‑loving nations worldwide for the country’s armed forces, especially the powerful and anti‑terrorist IRGC.”
