He described the colonial era as one of the most painful periods in human history, highlighting Western efforts to enslave nations through violence and exploitation.
Al-Houthi argued that after direct colonial rule, Western powers sought to weaken the Islamic world through cultural, educational, and media control, preventing independence and self-sufficiency. He said the West facilitated the occupation of Palestine to pave the way for the project of “Greater Israel,” with the United States inheriting Britain’s role in subjugating nations.
The Ansarullah leader accused Israel, with U.S. and British support, of pursuing expansionist plans in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria as part of a broader scheme to reshape West Asia in favor of Zionist interests. He warned that Israel aims to displace Palestinians from Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza, while seeking control over Lebanon and territories in Syria up to the gates of Damascus.
Al-Houthi called on Yemenis to remain vigilant against Western and Israeli plots, stressing that resistance and steadfastness have given Yemen a special position on the global stage. He urged the Yemeni people to participate in a mass rally at al-Sabeen Square, demonstrating solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon and reaffirming their refusal to submit to Zionist aggression.
